๐Ÿ›’ My Favorite Online Shops (clothing, skincare, and more! +links) ๐Ÿ›️

Hello angels, I'm back again with another resource post. Today I wanted to share all of my favorite online stores with you. It's probably been pretty difficult to get your retail therapy in while living in lockdown but thankfully we live in the age of the internet and you can get just about anything you want online (if you're willing to pay for the convenience!).

A lot of the sites I'm going to share today are not gyaru specific stores (aka not Japanese brand stores) but depending on your styling and creativity, you can probably find some unique pieces to add to your gyaru wardrobe.

This will be a pretty lengthy post as I'll be covering everything I get from head to toe (skincare, clothes, body care, etc) so feel free to skip ahead to whichever section you're most interested in!

I'm going to keep this short and sweet because there's a lot of links. Please leave me a comment if you need more info on a site! Some of these links may be affiliated or have affiliated codes and will be clearly disclosed if that's the case.

Again, this is not going to be a guide on how to make things gyaru-able or anything of that sort. This is purely just a source post for you to peruse new marketplaces and hopefully find items that would work for you and the gyaru style you are trying to achieve.

Skincare & Makeup

Olive Young Global - This link contains a referral code which earns you (and me) discount codes for our orders
  • my go-to source for Korean skincare and makeup
  • if you see a new beauty release from youtubers you will most likely see it here before you see it on yesstyle
  • for international shoppers, you may need to pay extra duties to receive your package which could make your overall purchase not really that much of a deal even if you get in on a discount or coupon event
Yesstyle - This link contains a referral code which earns you (and me) discount codes for our orders. You can also use my coupon code "NASSST" for a discount on your purchase (I will earn a commission from this)
  • best choice for Asian makeup and skincare; huge selection of Japanese and Korean brands
  • usually cheaper than OYG
  • I don't buy clothing items here much because sizing and quality is VERY inconsistent. Purchase at your own discretion but my experience has been mostly negative.
  • not a bad place to buy accessories
  • they will reimburse you for customs & fees under $1000 USD
  • go to place for western makeup brands
  • I sometimes buy my haircare here
  • I buy all my fragrances here

Body Care

  • my current body care supplier, will review them soon
  • I get my body exfoliant, body wash, and lotions from here
  • this is on my list to try for body wash/lotion
  • has a cult following in Asia
  • a bit pricey so more of a luxury purchase than necessity

Nails

Aliexpress - I get most of my supplies from Aliexpress so I'll list out links for each store/item
Amazon

Contact Lenses

I don't shop from all of these so I'll only have descriptors for sites I've personally purchased from. The other ones listed are popular and trusted within the gal community.

Honey Color
  • great mix of daily, monthly, quarterly and yearly disposable lenses for cosplay and natural styles

Misaki Cosmetics - This link contains a referral code which earns me a commission if you choose to use it. You can also use my coupon code "SEIRREN" for 10% off your order (I will earn a commission from this)
  • monthly disposables with both natural and circle lens-like designs
  • lots of natural/daily lens options; Korean store
  • carries a lot of popular Korean style lenses, tons of daily disposable options
  • great options for bright/striking colors that show up on dark eyes
  • another Korean store; has a lot of natural options with daily & monthly disposables

Clothing & Accessories

  • Korean fashion brand
  • Often does collabs with Barbie, Peko, and other cute brands
  • very cute, girly, and sophisticated clothing
  • can be plain, but sometimes has pieces with florals and animal prints
  • quality is very high and consistent; I've never received a bad product
  • luxury brands and independent designers
  • I like to buy designer accessories here
  • another fast fashion brand
  • great options for curvy or bigger gals
  • clothing is usually pretty sexy and revealing
  • quality is mostly decent but I don't like the shoes, very uncomfortable
  • OG fast fashion brand
  • great place for cheap staple pieces
  • sometimes has fun prints or designs
  • my favorite place to get dresses, sweaters, or knits at a reasonable price and fit
  • jewelry made of repurposed vintage luxury pieces
  • nice and affordable way (compared to actually buying luxury jewelry) to add a little bit of glam and luxury brand to your look
Bisou Lovely - this link will give you (and me) a $25 coupon
  • anime/magical girl/kawaii-inspired fine jewelry
  • pieces are hand made and custom designed by Bree
  • high quality materials used & options to customize are available

Second Hand Markets

If you want to get your hands on some Japanese brand items for cheap, I highly recommend you try your luck in the resale market. Most of these will require a shopping service (since the site will require a Japanese address to make an account) but they will usually handle everything for you, including asking the seller additional questions and packaging multiple orders into one parcel for you.

Shopping Services

Your experience with these may vary. Keep in mind that each service has their own fees and shipping options which may effect your total bill. I personally use Remambo, I don't have experience with any of the other ones but I know Buyee is really popular in the GG comm.

I hope you found this helpful and maybe found some new places to shop! ๐Ÿ’–
