💖 Bronze & Gold Makeup Experiment ✨

Hi angels! I hope you are having a lovely day. A few weeks ago I saw some inspo on instagram and decided to do a look inspired by it. As I was taking pics I felt like they were boring until I realized that I never took a picture of the outfit I wore to this wedding last year, so I decided to recreate it too! The pics turned out kind of cute but I feel like maybe the makeup was too casual lol
This was the picture I used for inspo:
I mostly was interested in trying the shadow placement and the lower lash mascara application. This is what I ended up creating:
I thought it turned out ok but I wasn't able to get my mascara to clump as much as the reference. I also didn't really do the large eye bag as that usually makes me look a bit cross-eyed so I'll have to experiment around that a bit more next time 😅
When I wore this outfit originally I didn't have the belt. I thought adding it would make it more interesting. I also I ended up putting my hair up too~
It felt nice to dress up a bit! I haven't been anywhere for so long since our restrictions became heavy again. I hope things get better soon.

Thank you for reading! I hope you stay safe and healthy. See you in my next post 💖

✨ Aliexpress Gyaru Lash Haul (with links) ✨

Hi angels! I hope you are doing well today. Yesterday I received my aliexpress lash haul and thought I would share them with you~
Top row from left to right: x x x
Bottom row: x x
Looking at the light pink box in the top left they're really similar to the ones I normally favor (pictured below) but are more expensive and come with one less pair so I probably will only buy these when the listing for my usual pair isn't available.
The ones in the white boxes are dupes for popular Japanese brand lashes (Jewerich no.3 and Eyemazing 501/001) that Motoko shared and I'm actually really impressed with them!! Comparison pics she posted:
I think these are some of my new favorite lashes now hehe~ I can't wait to make some looks with them 🙈

The light pink box in the top right I mostly bought on a whim but I'll probably wear them for more daily/light make days. Bottom right is a restock of the OG ICYCHEER ones that you know I adore (pictured below)
That's all for this post! I hope you liked it. See you again soon~

Hi angels, I hope you're doing well. Today I have another sponsored lens review for you 🥰 This is the last of 3 reviews from my new partnership with ColourfulEye. You can read the other reviews here and here.

Today I am reviewing the Nyx Grey lenses. These have a 8.6mm base curve and are 14.0mm in diameter. These lenses are also annually disposables so please discard them after this time to prevent discomfort and/or damage to your eyes. I personally don't keep annual disposables for the entire period of use and usually discard them after 3-6 months of use to ensure optimal eye health.

Color: ♥♥♥♥♥
These are probably the most vibrant lenses I've ever worn in my life so far. They give me major Akarin vibes and show up absolutely brilliantly on my eyes. These are actually so striking I feel like they would probably work best for cosplay or really bold makeup styles!

Design: ♥♥♥♥♥
I really like that this color shows up so well but doesn't have those weird black designs in the iris like traditional circle lens designs. I always felt those designs made your eyes look extra bug-eyed and weren't very flattering.
Enlargement: ♥♥
I actually don't think these give any enlargement at all but it's hard to tell because of how vibrant the color is. I think it might be very slightly enlarging but since the color is so light it sort of balances out.

Comfort: ♥♥♥♥
I wore these for about 4-5 hours and didn't experience any discomfort or dryness.

Overall: ♥♥♥♥♥
Though these lenses are really out of my comfort zone I think they are my new favorite vibrant lenses. I've tried a few different white/bright grey lenses in the past and they always seemed too unbalanced for my liking and either made my eyes look too small but super bright, or just straight up bug-eyed. The design on these ones provides the perfect amount of enlargement, definition and color for me!
I hope you found this review helpful and enjoyable to read. Please let me know if you have any questions about these lenses. Thank you again to ColourfulEye for sponsoring this post. Please check them out if you have time and look forward to my next review for them~

Thank you for stopping by today, I'll see you in my next post~ 💖

Hi angels, I hope you're doing well. Today I have another sponsored lens review for you 🥰 This is 2 of 3 reviews and is part of my new partnership with ColourfulEye. You can read the first review here.

Color: ♥♥♥♡♡
The color does not show up very blue on my eyes, it's more of a grey. It's not very noticeable from far away, in fact these are probably the most natural looking lenses I've ever worn aside from that pair that was the exact same color as my eyes. I was hoping that the color would show up just a little bit more because from far away my eyes just end up being very dark lol

Design: ♥♥♥
The design is very simple and minimal. I've been trying to find lenses that give a cute halo effect that's popular in Korean styles but this is just a little bit too dark and lacks the dimension I was looking for.
Enlargement: ♥♥♥♥♡
The enlargement on these is pretty noticeable up close but from far away it looks quite natural. I think it would be more enlarging on light colored eyes due to the color contrast.

Comfort: ♥♥♥♥
I wore these for about 4-5 hours and didn't experience any discomfort or dryness.

Overall: ♥♥♥
These are really natural and almost unnoticeable lenses that are perfect for daily wear, especially if you're looking for something that doesn't have too dramatic of a design but still gives you a bit of enlargement.
I hope you found this review helpful and enjoyable to read. Please let me know if you have any questions about these lenses. Thank you again to ColourfulEye for sponsoring this post. Please check them out if you have time and look forward to my next review for them~

Thank you for stopping by today, I'll talk to you again soon~ 💖
