[March 2024] Valentine's Nails & New Makeup

 

Hello angels I'm back again! I had to take a little break because I went overseas to handle some family affairs and also I got plastic surgery lol. I'm still healing so I haven't been online much but I did vlog the experience so maybe I'll post it one day. If not I'll definitely blog about it once I catch up from the backlog so you'll just have to wait until I get there (⁄⁄•⁄ω⁄•⁄⁄)

I don't usually get themed nails but I felt festive for Valentine's. I saw some cute leopard print nails where some of the spots where hearts so I asked my nail tech to do her own version and this is what she came up with.

My bf also needed a restock on some skincare so I decided to grab some products I've been eyeing to pad out the order.

I've always wanted to try Flortte so I was happy they had a few things in stock that I was interested in! Unfortunately it seems they've pulled most of their products from Yesstyle so I'll have to shop directly from their website now but I really liked the lip liners and the dry shampoo puff!

I was really getting a good handle of my signature make style so here's a photo dump of the 2 eye looks I did! One was for my nail appointment and the other was for dinner the next day ( ⸝⸝´꒳`⸝⸝)

[Jan 2024] First Gets of 2024

Hi angels! How are you today? I have been trying to be more strategic about my purchases so I've slowed down on big jfashion hauls. I noticed I was falling into the trap of buying pieces I liked for their brand or aesthetic but having nothing to coordinate them with so now I just have a lot of mismatched items in my closet.

As I mentioned in my last post, I decided to be more conscious of my professional wardrobe and as a result I've been thinking of doing an overhaul for my gal wardrobe as well.

I realized part of my struggle to coordinate outfits was largely due to the fact that I didn't have many shoe options. I tried to find some versatile/neutral options but unfortunately these didn't end up working out for me so I've listed them on my depop to sell.

I want to wear more skirts so I picked up this cute tiered one. Unfortunately it's very sheer so I have to wear it with another pair of lace shorts. 

I needed another bag for work so I thought this would be perfect. It fits everything I need comfortably and the material is very durable (ㅅ´ ˘ `)

Another big thing I'm tackling is upgrading all my furniture and decorating my home. I decided it was time to ditch my old ikea vanity. I saw this one on amazon and fell in love with it because of the light up mirror! I really liked that it's adjustable in width, so you can use the drawers as a nightstand if you offset the top part.

I thought this would help me have a less cluttered space but the drawers weren't big enough for a lot of my makeup so this photo is actually the cleanest I ever got it (ᵕ—ᴗ—)

[Oct 2023] Work Dinner Look & New Gets

 

Hi angels! Nearing the end of the year I had a lot of work functions to go to. It was tiresome and I felt very drained because I immediately had to go back to this after moving and recovering from covid. My body was still exhausted but I tried my best to show up and network.

I had to plan an event with one of our teams; we went out to a games bar and had a lovely KBBQ dinner afterwards.

It was starting to get really cold around this time of year so I naturally gravitated towards a more cool/rokku vibe. I really liked my makeup here, it was very lash focused so I was light on the eyeshadow. I think it complimented these lenses well.

I wanted the key point of this outfit to be this new jacket I picked up so I built around it. I wore a work tshirt and since I wanted to be comfortable for the long night I opted for jeans.

I had a lot of fun and I was able to enjoy myself even though I wad dead tired (╥ ω ╥)

The next day my package from Rachel arrived. I was so excited because she saved this ma*rs setup for me and it was sooooo cute (´｡• ᵕ •｡`)

I had to do a little try on and I was thrilled that everything fit!

I also got this cute ma*rs dress. I absolutely adore this print!!

And finally I got my dream d.i.a belt!! I've always loved this one and Rachel was kind enough to let me buy it from her (⸝⸝ᵕᴗᵕ⸝⸝)

I love everything so much and am so thankful to Rachel for these beautiful items. I will treasure them always (ㅅ´ ˘ `) ♡
