✨ Lens-less Gyaru Make & Recent Gets 💖

Hey angels! I hope you're doing well. The other day I wanted to try a lens-less gyaru look. I really like how it turned out but it was so difficult to get it looking right 😭 Seriously, I don't recommend toned down gyaru looks like this if you can help it. Doing this made me appreciate how important each element of the look is, especially lashes and lenses.

I tried to copy the colors in the inspo pic as best as I could with some of the items I got in my Beauty Bay haul but it might be a bit hard to see because of the way I take the closeup photos 🥺

I used this pic for inspo because I really loved her eye shape! I sometimes do the downwards liner shape but hers is so rounded and elongated, I thought I would give it a try.

Here's what I ended up with:

I think this ended up ok all things considered. I had some trouble getting the liner shape similar to the inspo pic but I do like the overall look. I won't ever do this again though tbh I just feel like having lenses elevates things so much.

What do you think? Let me know what you would've done differently or what you think I could've done to improve this look!

My bf came over and surprised me with a fancy new scarf. I was so surprised! He said he noticed I stopped wearing scarves and thought he would get me a nice one since I used to really like them. I'm super excited to break this out for some cute fall/winter outfits 💖

I also finally got those ICYCHEER lashes that everyone's been picking up lately. I was actually a bit disappointed with them though, they seemed a lot spikier and longer in the stock images(?) or maybe I'm remembering them wrong. I think I'll have to wear these stacked to get the look I like but I'm excited to give these a try.

2 pairs of lashes stacked

Lastly I got this little bear keychain on a whim. It was really cute and I ended up putting it on my bag 🙈

That's all for this post! I hope you enjoyed reading and I'll see you again soon~ 💕

🥂 Wedding Shenanigans 💕

Hello angels! I hope you're having a nice day. I have been having a lot of issues with my internet recently so I took a break from a lot of things to get that resolved, blogging being one of them. I still haven't completely fixed it yet but we got a new service provider for now so we are trying it out for the time being. There's still a lot of issues but my landlord is working to get those fixed in the next few weeks.

I totally fell behind in my blogging so I apologize that these next few posts will be older content you might have already seen on other platforms 😭

A few weeks back I went to another wedding. I actually forgot to take outfit pics and didn't realize until I got into bed smh

I wasn't sure what kind of eye makeup to do so I did a practice run the night before. I was thinking about a smoky glam eye since I was going to be out from noon until 10pm(?) so I thought this would be suitable for such a long day:
Unfortunately, I really didn't like how this turned out. I think the shape I was following in the inspo pic I used didn't flatter my eye. It made my eyes look really closed off and almost crossed so I changed it up a bit and ended up with this:
I think this was a bit more flattering though looking back on it now I kind of wish I did a darker lower lash line :<
The ceremony itself was short and sweet. It was at this cute little chapel that had a lot of bunnies on the outside!
Afterwards we had some time to kill before dinner so we went to a nearby plaza to grab a snack. The place we wanted to go to had a really long line so we checked out a blind box store nearby in hopes that the store would get less busy.
cute little statue in the window
the store had a bunch of these cute
little displays so you could see
what was in each series
We bought 2 blind boxes, one from the Pink Panther series and one from the LINE friends series! I got the "Spring Breeze" panther and Kevin got the Ball Sally one.
We tried to loop back for the bubble tea place we had eyed earlier but it was still really busy (I think they had just opened) so we decided to head over to the dinner venue and check out the nearby area there for some snacks. We ended up going to the supermarket below the restaurant and I got a small box of sushi to tie me over until dinner while my bf got some bakery buns. We also shared a bag of chips and some ice tea because we hadn't eaten all morning. I think we sat there in the car for like an hour at least lol

We saw the wedding party arrive while we were inhaling our snacks and quickly finished up so we could head upstairs. The restaurant had cordoned off a small private area for us and we had to show proof of vaccination to be let in, which was very nice.
I didn't really get a chance to take a photo of the food as it was served to us pre-portioned by the staff which means when it got to me it wasn't very aesthetic anymore. It was really tasty though and by the time we got to the fried rice I was too full to eat any more 😅
There was a photobooth with a floral wall backdrop but it was set up at a really weird angle and all the photos we took in it turned out super unflattering so I won't share those. Instead here are some pics we took with some IG filters
I think the best photos we
ever take are ones with
stupid filters on them lol
It was a really long night but I had so much fun! We went home and took some photos together (since we were both upset with the photobooth) and then got ready for bed.

That's all for this one, thanks for reading! I'll chat with you again soon~

Beauty Bay Haul

Hi angels! I hope you are doing well. Recently we had a long weekend for Thanksgiving so I've just been catching up on sleep and relaxing with my boyfriend.

I was watching Robert Welsh review some new Disney palettes and that led me to do some shopping on Beauty Bay. I've never heard of this site before but I trust Robert and most of the brands on there are quite reputable so I figured it wouldn't be the worst purchase ever.

I picked up the Disney palette collection he showed off and some other things that were on sale so I'm excited to share that with you today!

Here are all the things I got! I tried not to go too overboard because I'm going to be grabbing some Pat McGrath makeup and shipping out another Buyee order so I tried my best to be good lol

Items from left to right:

I haven't used any of the eyeshadow items yet but I'm really excited to! I swatched the quad and the lip glosses and they're all so pretty. The glosses smell like vanilla lattes which is nice lol and the quad shades are really unique. My favorite ones are the two light shades, the dark ones don't really look like the color in the pan but they are still pretty.

I thought about swatching the Disney palettes but I feel like I got a good idea of the colors from watching youtube videos so I will just go in and do a look with them instead of swatching. Here's a stock pic though to show you the colors:

The highlighters are gorgeous and look surprisingly natural and not frosty. I was anticipating that they would only suit glam looks but they actually look really nice and I will probably use them for dewy/natural look days.

The brow gel I bought on a whim but I actually really like how it works. I think the color is a bit dark for me so next time I will buy a shade or two lighter. If you get this be sure to only use a little product as it can pill and ball up on top of your base if you use too much!

I got the body cleanser on a whim as well, mostly because it is cheaper here than on the official site and I was eyeing it before I picked up the Necessaire products (yes, I will review this soon I'm sorry for the delay 😭).

Anyways, that's all I had for today. I can't wait to do some looks with these palettes and share those with you! See you soon~

Misaki Cosmetics Pro Series Gold Lens Review

[Disclaimer]: The links in this post are affiliated and if you choose to make a purchase with any of these links or use my coupon code, I will earn a commission from the sale (thank you if you do so!). This review is not sponsored, I purchased these lenses with my own money. This post will be my 100% honest opinion based on my personal experience with the product. I am not an eyecare specialist so please be sure to see a professional first before you purchase and use any of the lenses I review on this blog.

Hi angels! I have another lens review for you today. I bought these from Misaki Cosmetics a few months back and finally have a chance to write about them.

Misaki Cosmetics offers free worldwide shipping and if you use my coupon code "SEIRREN" you will receive an additional 10% off your order ✨
Today I am reviewing the Pro Series Gold lenses. These have a 8.6mm base curve and are 14.2mm in diameter. These lenses are also monthly disposables so please discard them after 30 days to prevent discomfort and/or damage to your eyes.

My natural eye color
With lens
With makeup
Color: ♥♥♥
I was hoping this "gold" would be more vibrant on my eyes but it ended up being quite natural looking. It gives you a kind of "my eyes but better" vibe, which is nice but not what I wanted from this particular lens.

Design: ♥♥♥
The overall lens design is simple and blends well with my natural eye color. In lower light environments it's not very obvious that I'm wearing contacts.

Enlargement: ♥♥♥
These give a subtle and natural enlargement.

Comfort: ♥♥♥♥
These are super comfortable and fit well. No dryness or irritation after 4-6 hours of continuous wear.

Overall: ♥♥♥
These are cute and natural daily or casual wear lenses. I think if you're looking for something to just add a subtle bit of pop to your makeup these would be great. They're not super vibrant even though the color is "gold" and not brown, but I think they might show up more dramatic if your natural eye color is lighter. Overall not a bad lens but not what I was looking for when making this purchase 😭
I hope you found this review helpful and enjoyable to read! Please let me know if you have any questions about these lenses.

Thank you so much for reading, I'll see you in my next post~
