Hi angels! How are you today? I recently placed a small Sephora order and got some things with a gift card I received for Christmas so this is my first gets post of the year!
I also received my giant lens haul as well. I wasn't going to buy any lenses since I have so many sponsored ones open/to go through, but my insurance allowance was still very high and it doesn't roll over to the new year so I kind of went nuts ๐
I guess you guys can look forward to a lot of lens reviews this year lol
I got all of these from Eyecandys (affiliate link). I used to order directly from i-dol/uria but because of current events the overseas post has been suspended. I saw that Eyecandys had a pretty decent selection of my favorite lenses as well as some of the new designs they recently released so I'm happy to finally restock and try these!
I've been looking for a new body lotion for winter for so long. I was using the Necessaire one (review coming soon I swear lmao) but I was going through it really quickly since it is very lightweight, so I decided to get a more heavy duty one. I really like Fenty's cosmetics so I decided to give their body care a try.
I picked up their Butta Drop Whipped Oil Body Cream I really like how it smells and feels on the skin! It smells kind of like tropical(?) berries and it feels super rich and luxe. It really does feel like you're slathering yourself with whipped butter. If you put too much on it'll leave you feeling a bit greasy so just be careful with that. A little goes a long way anyways!
I recently decided to start using my gua sha again but none of my current skincare rotation provides enough slip so I restocked my Ordinary Rose Hip Seed Oil.
I also needed a new makeup primer. I was using the Milk Makeup Hydro Grip one but I felt like it wasn't giving me enough hydration for colder days. I did some research and decided to try the Bobbi Brown Vitamin Enriched Face Base. It smells faintly of citrus and it goes on your skin like butter. Your makeup stays flawless all day and you don't feel crusty or dry even in freezing wind lol
I got a sample of the Patrick Starrr One/Size Ultimate Blurring Setting Powder since I just realized the one I was using from Milk Makeup got discontinued. So far I'm really liking it! I also only recently started using a puff instead of a brush to apply my powder. I don't like to bake so a brush made sense but it honestly didn't do much for my base other than take away some of the sheen in my foundation. With a puff (the ones you get in bb cushions) I'm actually seeing the blurring and perfect skin look so I totally get the hype about loose powders now ๐
This one wears really well and doesn't look cakey so I'm definitely going to purchase a full size when I run out!
That's all I had to share for this post, I hope you found it interesting and maybe have some new products on your "to try" list hehe ๐ฅฐThanks for reading and I'll see you in my next post~ ๐
