Casual Weekend Looks✨

Hey angels! I hope you're having a lovely week so far. I'm still chipping away at my backlog so forgive me for these dated posts 😭

I'm also backlogged on youtube videos right now because I've just got 0 energy after work but I promise I have some new content coming soon! I'm currently editing both my work trip vlog and another GRWM so stay tuned 💖
I started going out a little bit more at the tail end of last year just due to the fact that things were opening up more and I tend to be overly cautious with my hand washing and mask wearing so I think I'm relatively lower risk than most.

I wanted to maximize my time outside since it basically gets dark after 3-4PM so I started spending less time getting ready and the result was a lot more casual looks!

I went out for dimsum with my bf and some friends so I went for a simple and comfy look. I tried to use more fall colors like orange and brown but I feel like they're so boring on me 😅
I've been really loving these loose socks and I find it super fun to style them in different ways! Lately I've been really enjoying wearing them with boots or over leggings because I feel like it creates a very feminine silhouette, similar to a ballerina if that makes sense 🤔
A couple of our friends wanted to grab lunch at our favorite mazesoba place and after that we tried out this new bubble tea shop called Chicha San Chen
This place has a very small curated menu specializing in Taiwanese teas. I just tried one of their base milk teas with pearls and it was really tasty! It's a bit pricy especially considering the size but I think it's a nice little spot 💖
It was a bit colder that day so I wore thermal leggings under my skirt. I didn't really like my outfit that much but it was comfortable for all the walking we did.
At the mall they opened up this cute little plushy and Japanese goods store. It had so many cute items but I didn't buy anything because half of the items looked like terrible bootlegs and the ones that seemed "official" were overpriced imo 😬
I kept my makeup pretty simple again, focusing a lot on the lashes instead of eyeliner and eyeshadow. I have been experimenting a lot with eyelid tape and I think I've finally gotten the hang of it though I still mess up sometimes when I apply it.

I think I did well for this look so I'm happy with how it turned out. It's actually gotten me thinking that I should look into getting surgery since clearly having uneven eyelids is starting to bother me now that I'm doing my makeup a lot more often than before 😓
I've also been experimenting with shorter bottom lashes as well! I think they're fun and interesting to work with and look great for more casual looks. They're also just much easier to wear especially on days where I feel a lot of sensory overload so I think I will keep a bunch of these in my lash rotation for those days where I don't feel like going very OTT.

I would love to find more half band styles like this to work with so if you have any suggestions please share them with me 🥰
That's all for this post, thank you so much for reading! I'll see you in the next one 💕

  2. The lenses from the second makeup look are GORGEOUS!! I love the eyeshape too. And as far as recommendations for half lashes / shorter bottom lashes. I guess Diamond Lash Charming Eye fits that description? It's more-so in 3 pieces, but I love those!

    1. Ohh that's a good call out!! I really like the way that style looks but I hate how it's chopped up into different pieces cause I always lose them lmao

Thank you! The lenses are G&G Natural 3 Tone Grey (https://go.shopmy.us/p-820719)
