Hi angels! Thanks for being so patient while I catch up on all these old posts. I hope they're still interesting to read even though these are like a year old (ᵕ—ᴗ—)
I was really looking forward to writing this post because this is about one of my favorite nail sets of all time!!
I had a very normie fit because I had to go to the office that day but I put on a super cute makeup look with these lashes that were gifted to me. (This is not a sponsored post btw, I just wanted to share this look and the challenges I had around styling them). I've worn them in some makeup looks before but I couldn't get them to look quite right so I decided to try again!
These are the instastyle lashes from Misakicon. I worked with this company previously as they sent me contacts to review. They decided to start making lashes so they asked me to pick out a pair to review. To be honest a lot of the lashes they had available on their site were too normie looking for me so I picked the biggest pair in hopes that I could style it in gal make.
After trying them I can confidently say that they are very nicely made lashes but not for me. I found them very difficult to style because of the wispy ends and they were absolutely huge on me. These would work great for banba/manba styles but are not so suitable for anything more polished.
Despite my challenges with these lashes I did like the overall look. I made a really smokey and dramatic namida bukuro to balance out the large upper lashes and it turned out really cute with the lower lashes. This was my best attempt at a makeup look with these lashes so far so I was quite happy I managed to put this together ٩(ˊᗜˋ*)و ♡
For this nail set I brought in some animal print inspo. We ended up with this beautiful gradient glitter base and gems all over. I was literally obsessed with this nail set for months after I got it removed (˚ ˃̣̣̥⌓˂̣̣̥ )
After my appointment Kevin took me to dinner. We went to Zakkushi and had a feast (*´∇`*)
Everything was delicious as always. I like to imagine this is what eating in Japan would be like haha ٩( ᐛ )و
Your makeup is absolutely stunning!! These nails are soo bomb! Gotta do smth similiar sometime *-*
ReplyDeleteThe food looks so delicious! Yes, dining in japan must be so much fun.
