[June 2023] Daily Make & New Nails

 

Hi angels! I was playing around with finding a signature daily make style. For a long time I wasn't content with the way my makeup looked and every single time I put on a face I was trying something new. While this was fun to do it was also really exhausting so I wanted to focus on finding a look that I was happy with and could execute on repeatedly with confidence. 

This look was a very "my eyes but better" type of approach. I wore lenses that were very similar to my own eye color but had an enlarging factor. I think this was a good balance of gal elements without being too OTT on the droop but this proved difficult to replicate because if my top liner was even slightly off the whole look would be ruined.

This look utilized more natural and wispy lashes just to see if I could make use of them outside of stacking them with other lashes. I think the balance didn't feel quite right with this look, especially with the large lenses. I guess wispies just aren't for me (｡•́︿•̀｡)

This lash and lens combo was a little bit better, again trying to work with wispy/more natural lashes. I wore this look to work and it was pretty comfortable but I wasn't really a fan of any full face pics I took. I think the eye is pretty close up but in a full face shot it didn't balance well.

I spent all week trying to get a good signature eye down but overall I didn't feel really successful. Thankfully I also had a nail appointment booked so I was happy I at least had one signature point on lock (ㅅ´ ˘ `)
