[April 2023] Seafood Feast 🦞

 

Hi angels, I hope you've been doing well. I've been so busy trying to get as much done at work before my holidays come up. I think I'm going to start publishing multiple posts each day to get through my backlog faster. This way I'll have some fighting chance of catching up before the year ends (૭ ｡•̀ ᵕ •́｡ )૭

In this post we're looking back at my first time visiting Riley's for a work dinner. I enjoyed this meal so much this quickly became one of my favorite restaurants (ㅅ´ ˘ `)

We had a director from Shanghai visiting for this dinner so I decided to dress up a little. I felt so grown up in this outfit haha ٩(ˊᗜˋ*)و ♡

For the makeup I went with a gold glitter shadow and paired it with a brown lens. I was thinking this would look more like my own eyes even though it's a full gal look because the restaurant would be dimly lit. At this point I wasn't very confident in my casual/normie makeup so I wore full gal make to all my work functions but I tried to pick less flashy eyeshadow and lens colors so I didn't scare my seniors lol (｡•́︿•̀｡);

The menu here was so big!! Everything looked great, we decided to get a seafood platter for sharing and then everyone got their own mains.

I got the seared scallops and they were sooooo tasty!!! I think about them a lot ♡(੭´͈ ᐜ `͈)੭

For dessert we all picked one off of the menu and shared a bite with everyone. I got the lemon tart and it was one of the best ones on the menu imo but they were all delicious.
