Gyaru Forum Revival

 

Hi angels! I am interrupting the backlog posting to bring you a special announcement. My friends and I have been feeling nostalgic for the old gyaru forums from livejournal so we've decided to try and revive them. Together we have created daily_gyaru on Dreamwidth! It is a blend of the rules and spirit from the previous old communities.

Those of you who have been around the comm since the 2000's will remember these spaces as some of the first online communities for gals to meet and bond. We hope to rekindle that same passion for style and community we had all those years ago!

[May 2023] Tweed Set Up & New Nails

 

Hey angels! I hope you're having a nice day. I got this cute tweed setup and ankle boots from Emi and was really excited to bring them with me on my work trip. I did a quick try on and I love how it looked!

I just wore a tank top since I was only trying this on but the tweed set fit really nice and I loved how it looked with sheer tights and chain belt. The boots are so comfy as well (´｡• ◡ •｡`) ♡

After playing dress up I went and got a new nail set. I wanted to try a color I've never gotten before because I always pick the same 3 lol. This time I decided to try this gorgeous green cateye. It was sooooo cute with the gems, I loved it so much ( ๑ ˃̵ᴗ˂̵)و

[May 2023] Black Hair 🤪

 

Ok angels, this post officially marks the beginning of the most cursed arc of my life. I decided to go and dye my hair back to my natural color because I was tired of the upkeep and my hair was very damaged from over 10+ years of nonstop bleaching.

I actually felt like this was a cute and welcomed change because it was such a stark difference to my hair colors before. I was also going through some hair fatigue in that I couldn't decide what color I wanted but I was tired of pinks, purples and silvers.

Looking back I should've just kept it a dark blue or something but I ended up chopping a lot of the ends off and wasn't sure it would look good at that length if it was fashion colored.

I did appreciate that this color presented some different contrast so now I could style myself a bit differently. I really liked this outfit a lot, I love how my hair didn't stand out too much.

[April 2023] Tsuyome CO*DE

 

Hi angels! I hope you've been enjoying all these new posts so far. In this one I'm sharing a little tsuyome co*de I put together. I was inspired by my bestie Mando's use of maxi skirts and wanted to try making a cool outfit using this sheer black one I had.

I stuck to a black and white theme for this outfit but I really want to try making a more colorful one in the future ( ˶ˆᗜˆ˵ )

I didn't really know what to do for the makeup so I just accidentally ended up with this pink and black look. I thought it would be too much if i did a completely dark smokey eye. I really like how it turned out, the smokey droop was so cute in these photos (๑•ᴗ•๑)
