☠️ Vkei Inspired Gyaru Makeup ☠️

Hello angels! Today I wanted to share a vkei inspired gyaru look that I did a few weeks ago. I mostly used colors from the abh norvina palette which I got as a lovely Christmas gift from one of my best friends, Mando. I used old vkei pictures as reference, I really wanted to imitate the red smokey shadow look but with a gyaru spin. Here's what I came up with~

How did I do? This was the first time I've done a dark/bold look in a long while. I'm not used to working with such pigmented shadows, I was pretty intimidated but I think it turned out ok! 😂 Where do you draw your inspiration from? 

💖Valentine's 2021💖

Hello angels! I hope you had a lovely Valentine's weekend. I wanted to put together a look with the mesh heart crop top I got in my last haul post but unfortunately it got super cold here last week. It snowed and it was -15 degrees in my house because our furnace wasn't working so I wasn't able to wear anything super gal but I did wear the top out with some jeans and boots for errands. I haven't been out of the house in like 2 or 3 months so it was nice to get some fresh air even if I was just in the car for most of that time.

My bf and I don't usually do much for Valentine's. It's mostly because we don't like fighting crowds for reservations or overpaying for things like chocolates so staying in this year due to covid was nothing new to us. He bought me this huge bouquet of roses and I absolutely adore them. We ordered some nice sushi and watched CSI together! It was honestly a perfect night.

I wanted to do a cute lil himekaji look but unfortunately I ended up doing something super basic 😭

♡ MA*RS Coord ♡

 

Hello angels, I hope you're well! Today I wanted to share a MA*RS coord I put together a while back. I got rid of most of my gyaru closet a few years ago and only kept a handful of MA*RS pieces that I really liked. I couldn't fit them very well when I bought them so I didn't wear them at all but as I was cleaning my closet a few weeks ago I just had to give them a try. To my surprise they fit very nicely now so I snapped some pictures n_n

I did a little shimmery purple look to go with it. I wanted to do something sweet but not reach for pinks/rose golds like I usually do.

I ended up changing out of this outfit and putting up my hair to snap some cozy pictures and finish up cleaning my closet.

I'm glad I kept a few old gyaru items for nostalgia sake. I'm not sure if I'll ever get the chance to wear them out but maybe one day I can throw them on for a birthday party or something!
