🍖Weekend BBQ & Quick OOTD/Make😋

Hi again angels! Today I wanted to share with you a quick 20-30 minute look I did for a last minute bbq at my friend's house 😅

My bf and I were napping when our friend called and he only gave us like 30 minutes to get to his house so I did a no lower lash look and grabbed whatever clothes I had nearby. I think the makeup turned out ok but I would've liked just a little more time to put on lower lashes and find a better outfit 😭

I've been using this new palette I got in my olive young order a while back quite a lot. It's by Daisque in the color #07 milk latte. I mostly bought this for the shimmers/glitters (which are gorgeous)!! but I'm like, struggling to use the rest of the palette well since, if you're familiar with Korean eyeshadows, it's mostly just a suggestion of color if anything.

I'm currently using this as my daily make palette (along with some darker shades in UD naked 1&2 and abh amrezy/norvina). So far it's really nice and these colors are really great for transition/blending! I think I'll try to work with this a little more to find ways to make the colors more vibrant. So far I've been skipping eyeshadow primer since usually I reach for this while I'm in a rush/being casual 🤔

Anyways, that's all for this post! Let me know what your go-to makeup items for when you're in a rush. Also which parts of your makeup do you/can you omit but it still looks recognizably gyaru? I'm curious to know how you guys change up your routine to account for time constraints!

💖Trying Rena's Eye Shape🌺

 

Hi angels! How are you today? I wanted to share my latest eye experiment with you. I think this has been my most successful recreation so far. It's much more extreme than I'm used to but it gained a lot of positive attention on my ig and twitter so I guess I did a good job haha 😅

For this experiment I tried to replicate Rena's look. This is the photo I used for reference:

I'm actually really pleased with how this turned out. When I put the look side by side with the ref, I can see I did a great job of directly copying it to suit my features. I don't know that I like my droop this dramatic but I enjoyed the freedom of not wearing bottom lashes. 

I don't have anything against bottom lashes, in fact I love them in a lot of my looks, but there's something about doing a look like this that feels like... idk, I'm getting away with something I shouldn't be? 😂 

Don't listen to me, I'm writing all of these look experiment posts back to back on a weird burst of energy in the middle of recovering from my vaccine LMAO

💕 Trying Momoa's Eye Shape 🌹

 

Hey angels! I'm back again with another eye shape experiment, this time I tried Momoa's make. This was a bit difficult for me because she likes to make her eye shape a lot wider/elongated than I'm used to and I also wasn't sure how to lash up for this look. 

I spent a lot of time trying to make this work for my features so instead of a direct copy I would say this look is more of an inspired take than anything. It didn't turn out too bad but again, I think I would need to revisit this at another time and try again before I can say that I'm happy with it.

I definitely needed a gel liner for this because my liquid one is just hanging on for dear life rn lmao. Also I'm not sure if dollywink rebranded their liner or discontinued it, but I'm having a hard time finding it for purchase so that only adds to the pain I feel right now 😫

Overall I don't hate this look but I'm not sure that elongating my eyes is something I prefer doing in my gal make. I actually didn't do it that much because I was hating how it was looking lol. I'll have to think about this one some more and re-attempt it in the future.
