Today I am reviewing the Mermaid Purple lenses. These have a 8.6mm base curve and are 14.0mm in diameter. These lenses are also annually disposables so please discard them after this time to prevent discomfort and/or damage to your eyes. I personally don't keep annual disposables for the entire period of use and usually discard them after 3-6 months of use to ensure optimal eye health.

Color: ♥♥♥♥♡

These are super unique lenses but the color isn't "purple" as the name suggests so that can be misleading. It does have some purple flecks but it mostly shows up green and grey. That being said these are absolutely gorgeous on darker eyes and show up extremely vivid. It looks like I'm wearing a lens filter in person.

Design: ♥♥♥♥♥

The design is really beautiful, the way that the colors are speckled into the limbal ring makes it look a lot less extreme since it is quite thick. I think you get a lot of dimension of color as well so it's not just a flat wash of color over your eyes, this gives you a bit of a mystical vibe~

Enlargement: ♥♥♥♥♡

The enlargement on these is noticeable but not overly dramatic. I would say it's quite balanced given the colors and designs even though the overall lens look is rather unnatural and vibrant.

Comfort: ♥♥♥♥♥

I wore these for about 4-5 hours and didn't experience any discomfort or dryness.

Overall: ♥♥♥♥♥

I think these are one of my new favorite lenses. The color and design is so unique, I don't think I've ever worn a lens like this before. It is vibrant and dramatic but not in a bug-eye or costume-y way. These would be great for gyaru or more OTT makeup looks but I think every day wear is possible if you're into or used to your eyes being the main focal point of your look.

Color: ♥♥♥♡♡

These are not as brown as I thought they would be, the are more of a muted gold or tan color on my eyes. It's definitely not as vibrantly golden orange brown as the stock image though they do stand out in contrast to my natural eye color.

Design: ♥♥♥♡♡

The design doesn't really match the stock image. The limbal ring isn't as prominent in comparison to the lens color, which was a bit disappointing to me. I feel like I almost can't see it since it blends in with my natural eye color so much. Some people might like this but I wasn't a fan.

Enlargement: ♥♥♥♡♡

The enlargement on these are quite subtle since the limbal ring is not that thick or dark. I think a thicker or more vivid colored one would've given these lenses a nice contrast because right now they look a bit flat on my eyes.

Comfort: ♥♥♥♥♥

I wore these for about 4-5 hours and didn't experience any discomfort or dryness.

Overall: ♥♥♡♡♡

I think these are pretty but they are not what I expected from the stock images. I much prefer the grey ones over these. I think if you have a lighter eye color than I do these might look more like the stock image on you. I probably would not get these for myself but I think they would be a great option if you're looking for some brown/gold lenses with subtle enlargement!

💜 Purple Glitter Gyaru Makeup & Short Nails ✨

Hello angels, how are you today? I was recently feeling a bit uninspired again with my makeup so I popped open my palettes and tried to use colors I haven't before. I ended up with this glittery purple look which I got a lot of compliments on~

I mostly used the Huda Beauty Mercury retrograde palette to create this look:

I also finally had time to do my nails. I made a short set this time because I'm trying to give my nails a break from extensions so I could deep clean my house and build some furniture. I've been really inspired by Korean nail art accounts lately so I wanted to try a short blingy set~

I'm still not used to having short nails but these are cute and I can't be mad at them like I was with the French ones I had before this lol

This actually took me so much longer to do than full extensions because I had such little surface area to shape and balance 😅 The natural dips in my nails and uneven nail beds between my fingers were so annoying to work with I'm literally never doing this again omg 😭 

At least they turned out nice 🤪✌🏻
