❤ G&G Aurora Tricolor Yellow Lens Review ❤

Hey everyone! I'm back again from being a lazy shit. I know it's been a long time since I've done a review (and this one is way overdue anyways lol) so here we go~

Today I'll be reviewing the G&G Aurora Tricolor lenses in yellow. Please note that this is not a sponsored review. I purchased these lenses from PinkyParadise here. I also picked up the purple, green, and brown lenses from this series and I will review them separately.
Left to right: yellow, green, purple, brown
Diameter: 15.0 mm
Water Content: 38%
Base Curve: 9.0 mm
Duration: 1 year disposal
I was pretty excited to try these because I've never seen wearable yellow lenses before. I thought these would be more hazel colored when worn but I think they look more grey/green, depending on the light. They're still super pretty and I was not disappointed at all.
My naked eye
Looking into a light you can see it's pretty yellow
Color ♥♥♥
These lenses are stunning in picture and in photos. They're much more natural than I thought they would be considering most "yellow" lenses are quite dramatic (at least from what I've seen they're more suited as costume lenses than every day wear).

Design ♥♥♥
The design of the black outer ring isn't too dramatic. The way the colors are mapped out on the lens blends really well with my natural brown so you really get this "tricolor" effect.

Enlargement ♥♥♥♥
These lenses offer a decent enlargement effect because of the black outer ring. Sitting at 15.0 mm, I think the enlargement is pretty natural, as in you probably won't look TOO scary if you wear just minimal makeup (unlike the 16.2 mm tofi blue lenses I had before).

Comfort ♥♥♥♥
I didn't experience too much discomfort with these although I do notice that after wearing them for a full day (6+ hours) my eyes do get a bit dry and tired feeling. It's not terrible I've had worse haha.

Overall ♥♥♥♥♥
I think these are some of the prettiest lenses I've ever worn. The design is super pretty and they show up very nicely in photos. I'm currently wearing the purple ones. I tried the green ones but they were ripped so I only wore those ones once. Next up is brown but yellow is by far my favorite of the series!
I hope you found this helpful! See you next time~

❤ありがとうございます❤

Hello again, I hope you're all having a fantastic day. It started to rain again here in Vancouver, but unlike the gloomy weather I've been quite cheerful these days. I'm almost a month into my bcp and I feel a lot more emotionally stable. I don't think I've felt this way in at least 4-5 months and it feels great to not be sad for no reason lol.
2 weeks ago I had to say farewell to a dear friend of mine. Unfortunately after a long wait, he was ultimately not able to get his visa to work here and he had to return home. I didn't really want to think about it at the time so here I am so many weeks later finally confronting my feelings about the whole situation. I think that too many bad things have happened to me in my life so it takes a while for things like this to really hit me emotionally.

I met Santiago 2 years ago when I started game design school. We pretty much became best friends instantly because we're awesome and loved a lot of the same things. We saw eye to eye on a many things and shared the same humor, especially when it came to games, music, movies and anime.

We both share an undying love for
the BSB and went to see the movie
together when it premiered
Post movie A&W goodness
We both worked really hard to finish school, in fact the final project piece in our portfolios was originally an idea we had both worked on and pitched to the class together. But due to complications in the class, I ended up on another team (although I was proud of how far he and his team were able to mold and shape the project into something new and fun).
The infamous NYE party
Of course we love good food
Our favorite Deka Negitoro Maki

After graduation we both tried to find work in the industry, and honestly I wouldn't have my job right now if it wasn't for him. I owe you so much Santi and you mean a lot to me. I'm sad that you are gone for now but I wish you all the best. Work hard and I know that you'll be able to accomplish anything you set your mind to. I hope to visit you in Mexico soon but if I don't get the chance I will definitely come party with you in Japan. I miss you so so much already. I'm really thankful to have met you and I hope that you never change. I look forward to your visit over the holiday season, see you very soon.

So majestic
On a lighter note, I went to a friend's birthday party last week. We went for Korean BBQ and it was awesome cause we haven't had a big get together like this in a while. Here are some pictures/video from the night:
My makeup for the night
That's all for now. Sorry it got so sad but I just had to get it off my chest. See you guys later!

★ 新しい ★

Hello! I'm not gonna lie, I got hella lazy and procrastinated making this post forever lol. A few weeks ago I got to meet my new baby nephew, Devon. I got to see a lot of family from my dad's side whom I haven't seen in years so it was really nice! Here was my look for the night:
I've been trying out a new eye and brow shape. I've sort of straightened out my brows a little more and for my eyes I've been doing that little inner corner point. What do you think?

Some pictures and video from the dinner:

Work's been pretty steady lately. I had a bunch of extra hours to put in but that fat check at the end of the week definitely made me feel better about working the weekend. We also had a summer party a few weeks back. There was a beer garden, inflatable slide, bumper cars, and a lot of yummy food!
We also had a cosplay exhibit where some of the employees put up their costumes and props for display. It was so cool to see geek culture celebrated so openly (I know it's a game company and that should be sort of expected but it's still really cool to see stuff like this around the office!)
Other than that, not much is new, but I am doing a little better than I was in my last post. I started working out with one of my besties, Branden, and I signed up for the gym at work. That's been helping me relieve stress and distract myself from my problems for a bit. It's quite relaxing and I think it makes me feel a lot better about myself. I want to lose ~10 lbs and get myself that flat tummy so I've been really focused on watching my meals and staying active.

I've also started cooking a little more with him (he's in culinary school) so I'm learning lots on how to eat foods that are better for my body.
This post is getting so long lol. Yesterday I went to a friend's birthday party. I've been friends with her since elementary school so it was really nice to catch up and see her again. Here was my look:
This was almost the same as the look I posted earlier but I cut out the black liner on my lower lash and only lined the inner corner. I think I might like this look better since it doesn't look as harsh and heavy as the one I wore to my nephew's dinner.
Close-up! Sorry for the crap quality ;n;
Of course, my post wouldn't be complete without a photo dump of food and other things I snapchat so here you go:
Branden and I went shopping and
found this cool Coke can glasses
Corgi at work!
I didn't know Guy Fieri had his
own coffee.....
More dogs at work!
Branden my house waifu lol

We had a power outage at work so
this is how some of the artists
and the art director passed the time
It finally started raining again!
WHY IS THIS ON MY BUS
That's all for now! Catch you guys later.
