I hate the cold ლ(。-﹏-。 ლ) [picture heavy]

Hello lovelies. Sorry for the lack of updates lately, but I'm still active on the rest of my social media! Recently I've been under a lot of stress. There's a lot going on in my personal and family life and it's been affecting me greatly. If you read my Recovery post you'll know I've been upset for quite a while. I was getting better but because of recent events, I've fallen back into this rut. I feel like I'm having a quarter-life crisis haha.

But anyways, I don't really want to get into that right now. I don't like to vent or post anything to personal on this blog because of the traffic I get here. I prefer to keep all my personal stuff on my tumblr or in a written diary instead.
Anyways, I guess I just wanted to let you guys know I'm still around. I've been getting back into doing my makeup and stuff. I've got a few haul posts coming soon, I'm just waiting for all the parcels to arrive. I've got some lenses and clothes on the way so I'm really excited to share my thoughts on them with you.

For now, I'm still hanging on and trying to get better. Life's been rather dull lately besides all that shit that's going on. The only exciting thing that happened was that I got to see (and touch) Nick Carter a few weeks ago. That was one of the best nights of my life LOL (I'm so weird).
I'm sorry I don't really have much content to post. I've just kinda been sitting around and crying a lot. If I'm not doing that, I'm usually spending a lot of money on things that I don't need or I"m stuffing my face with food lol.
I don't have much more to talk about for now so here's some makeup spam (I'd do more outfit posts but my outfits are boring as hell because I'd rather stay warm and look like a potato. Stupid winter ;n; ). I started the month with some lighter looks but have been leaning towards darker looks lately. Which one of these looks do you prefer~?
I've also been thinking about cutting my hair short. I don't think I'll actually do it because I love my long hair so much but it's interesting to see how it would look if it was shorter haha. This is what I imagined getting if I were to cut it (it's just tucked into my jacket):
Thanks for sticking around. I'll be back soon~

6KS.com Review

Hi again my lovelies! I hope all of you had a great weekend. Today I finally got my package from 6KS. I saw Pastelbat's outfit post and I fell in love with the pervert jersey t-shirt she had on in the 5th coordinate. I decided to order it for myself after seeing how cheap it was on the site! You can find it here for $16.99.

Side note: this is not a sponsored review. It was my first time ordering from this site and I just wanted to share my experience with you in case you were also interested in ordering from them.
I have to say I'm quite pleased with the quality of the product. I thought the shirt itself (fabric) would be kind of cheap but it's actually quite nice! I'll have to flip the shirt inside out to wash and hang dry it though because I think the graphics will crack and wash off in the machine ;___;
Okay, on to the review! This might get a little ranty, so I apologize ahead of time if I start to ramble.

I placed my order on September 6th. I went through the whole process online and paid with Paypal. I didn't make an account on the site because they gave me the option to checkout without signing up. I didn't wasn't sure if I would shop there again so I decided to not make an account.

After I checked out, I waited for the confirmation email/receipt. Anyone who has ever ordered anything online knows that most sites pretty much instantly email you this stuff after you've completed the transaction. I got nothing.

I waited an hour and still no confirmation email so I got a bit concerned. I checked my Paypal and it noted the transaction, but I didn't get a receipt from the website. So I decided to email them and ask what was up. At this time I also made an account on their site just to speed things up if they were to ask me for one.
On September 8th I receive a reply from someone named Lena. She apologized for the delay and explained they had a long weekend for the mid-autumn festival. She then asked me to reply with the Paypal transaction ID, and I did.

The next day she emails me back with my order number and told me it takes about 5 days to process an order before they ship it. She said, "Once we ship your package we'll inform you by email" and then asked me to confirm my address (I did immediately).
9 days later, September 17th rolls around and I get fed up waiting for them. I send them another email asking about my order and the shipping status.

I get a response within a few hours stating:
Dear Customer,
Thank you for your valued email.Your order is ready,we will ship it today.And you will get your order tracking number within 48 hours.
Fine. Whatever.
Another 5 days later (September 22nd), I'm starting to get kind of pissed LOL. They still haven't emailed me a tracking number, so I email them again.

They reply the next day with:
Dear Customer,
Thank you for your valued email.Your package was sent back to us from the courier company.We will reship it tomorrow.Million sorry for this issue.
Are you kidding me? There's a delay/issue with my package and you can't be bothered to tell me? I honestly could care less about the delay, I'm just pissed they decided I didn't need to know about anything. At this point I've been waiting for a tracking number for more than 2 weeks without an explanation and that's just unacceptable.
4 days after this (September 27th), I email them yet again because they still haven't sent me a tracking number or update on my order status. I'm basically fuming over this stupid t-shirt =___=;;

Finally they email me back with a tracking number and a site. Fast forward to today, it is October 20th. It literally took them a month and a half to send me a t-shirt lol. In the end, I'm not unhappy with my purchase but their customer service needs some serious help. I would have basically been left in the dark all this time if I had not taken the time to follow up with them.

Although the overall process was frustrating, I'm not completely put off from ordering off their site again because the product quality is actually not that bad. I probably won't order from them for a while though.
Overall Site Rating: 3.5/5
I hope you guys found this helpful! If you guys had a different experience with this site, let me know! Maybe I just picked to order at a busy time haha~ Catch you later!

✿Sakura Creamy✿ Palty Hairdye Review

Hi everyone! I recently colored my hair since my roots were growing out a lot. I didn't want to go to a salon because money has been tight since I moved out. I decided to go back to the box dyes and just do it myself. I didn't really want any of the colors in the Palty Foam Hairdye line (which I've done a review on, you can see it here and here) so I decided to try the original dye line.
I picked out the color Sakura Creamy. I wanted something less ashy so I figured a warmer color like this would be nice for the summer. I picked these up from a local Pricesmart for about $12-13/box. I needed 4 boxes because my roots were so long and my hair is crazy thick, which surprisingly enough still came up cheaper than if I went to a salon Q__Q (I was quoted something along the lines of $120??? Like whatttt)
Palty color chart~
What the box looks like
Stuff in the box
Here's what my hair looked like before the application
As you can see it's pretty dark. You can barely even see where it's actually colored lol. I don't know why I always wait this long to get my hair done ;^;

Anyways, I applied the dye to my roots and let it sit for about ~45 minutes or so. Then I went over all my hair with the remaining amount of dye and let that sit for ~20 minutes before rinsing everything out. Here are the results!
I was quite surprised at how well the color turned out! As you can see, my hair is much more vibrant and lively than it was in the before pictures. Time for the review!
Coverage/Colour: ♥♥♥♥♥
As always, I am extremely impressed with Palty's color and coverage. It covered my roots flawlessly and revived the color on the rest of my hair.

Packaging: ♥♥♥♥
Gotta love the traditional squeeze bottle that hair dyes come with. Everything was cute, and easy to use. The instructions were in English too!

Price: ♥♥♥♥♥
Super affordable, even though I bought 4 boxes the total was still around ~$50 after tax. If you grab them while they're on sale I think they go for around ~$9-10 a box.

Overall Rating: ♥♥♥♥♥
Love love love this product so much! I think I might even prefer this over the foam line because it's a lot less easier to apply with the squeeze bottle (just shake up the product inside and apply!). The color payoff is gorgeous and it's very affordable. I highly recommend you guys check these out. I know they've been out for a while now but if you haven't tried them yet, you really should~ You can find these dyes at any Asian supermarket such as T&T!
Thank you guys so much for reading! I hope you found this informative and helpful <3 Catch you guys later~

Late Post: Christmas and New Year's 2013 [picture heavy]

Hey guys! Just a quick update on the situation mentioned in my previous post before we get started (you can skip to the next paragraph if you don't care); I found a few potential new homes for Koji so we won't have to get rid of him forever. (details at the end of the post) Phew! My mom has been discharged from the hospital and we are all working together to get back to normal. I also started school again so that's really helped occupy my mind.

So as the title suggest, this will be a late post about my Christmas and New Year's celebration. This year was rather quiet because of recent happenings, but it turned out a lot better than I anticipated.
For Christmas, I had a small dinner with my sister, my boyfriend, and his family. We had lots of good food and talked a lot about my situation. It was really nice, and his parents were very kind to us.

On the weekend after Christmas I had a potluck with my friends. We made gingerbread houses and some other rather inappropriate gingerbread goods LOL.

Yes, that is a gingerbread man part.
All the yummy food! I made the roast veggies~

My uncle from Toronto visited us this year so we had a big family dinner. I was really happy because I absolutely adore my dad's side of the family, so it was nice to see everyone again. I mostly see them at holiday dinners but really no more than twice a year since everyone's always so busy ;^;

I went out once with just my uncle and grandma, then once with the whole family. So here are photos from both days:

Tried doing nail extensions for the first time!
For NYE I decided to stay casual. I was so tired from partying and cleaning my house that I just wanted to relax. I spent it with my close friends and we played video games all night. We counted down together and had a wonderful time.
That pretty much wraps up my holiday. Now I'm back at school and frantically packing/cleaning. I'm going to be back at work again next week too so that will make life even more stressful. Hopefully the move will be smooth and we'll have little to worry about. We still need to furniture shop and pack our essentials, but all the small stuff like shoes and kitchen appliances are ready to go!

My cousin's wife's mom has agreed to take Koji until mid-March so I won't have to worry about him for a bit. She's a huge dog lover and has 2 of her own. I think he'll get some good disciplining from her as well as better social skills from the other dogs. The move is stressful for all of us but I hope that he can tough it out with me. I'll be visiting him as much as I can and hopefully we'll ride this out. My mom wants to ask the landlady if we can keep him after we've settled down but I think it's better if I just move out with him.

I think that as long as her relatives are in the picture I'll have a tough time keeping Koji. My best option is to move out on my own as soon as humanly possible and go from there. Luckily I have lots of friends wanting to move out as well and would love to have me and Koji so maybe it won't be as hard as moving on my own. But we'll cross that bridge when we get to it I suppose.
Anyways, this post ended up way longer than I expected! (Oops, sorry for the rambling!) I hope you all had a wonderful holiday and are enjoying the new year. I've got some exciting posts coming up so I'll try my best to get those out! xoxo
