As I mentioned in my last post, I had a pretty quiet and uneventful Christmas but I was ready to start the year fresh. I had done a lot of preparations and work for my dad's arrangements and affairs so I felt like the hardest part was over and now all I had to do was pick up the pieces and move on.
I felt optimistic that with time I could heal and by this point I was little more comfortable getting back into my old routines so I was happy to be using makeup as therapy again.
I wanted to doll up for my nail appointment because starting a fresh nail set always gets my mood up. I went with an icy blue theme which would later translate into my nail set!
I loved this eye look so much. I really wish I still had the lashes to recreate this but I custom made them by stacking lashes I didn't like and gluing the tips together. I sadly no longer have either of these styles and the listings I bought them from have been taken down (｡•́︿•̀｡)
I really wanted to try those textured liquid metal nail designs so my tech came up with this blue chrome style. I thought it was really cool at first and I liked how it matched my makeup but the charms got really annoying and would catch on everything. By the time I needed this set removed I HATED it lmao ( ˶°ㅁ°) !! Have you ever had this experience?
Anyways that's all for now. I'm so happy to be making progress through my backlog finally. I can't wait to write all about my happenings in 2024.
